The amazing Ancient Grain Einkorn!!
It’s praised for having better flavor, superior digestibility and nutrient content! Boasting 30% more protein of wheat today and 15% less carbohydrates! Although it is not gluten free, it is reported to be very well tolerated by those with gluten sensitivities (this still excludes those with Celiacs). Einkorn is not a high yielding plant and hard to mill, so it was not a good choice for hybridization and so it has been left in its original “ancient” form! How blessed we are that Young Living offers us this wholesome option for our flour & baking needs!
My sourdough starter is about 1 month old, I am exploring and refining recipes and will share the starter & recipes and more with Einkorn & Sourdough soon!
